The College Admission Cycle Is Ending—Here’s What Comes Next

Decision Season Is Here: Are You Ready for May 1?

Admission decisions are in. Learn what to do before May 1, how to choose wisely, and how families secure fully funded college offers.

April 12, 2026

It’s that time of year—the college admission cycle is winding down.

Students have mostly received their offers, and now it’s time to make one of the most important decisions in the process.

First and foremost—congratulations.

To every student and family who has navigated this journey, this is a moment worth recognizing. The process is long, complex, and often overwhelming. Getting to this stage is an accomplishment in itself.

May 1 is National Decision Day, when many students will formally accept or decline their offers and publicly share their college choice. But more importantly, it’s the moment where all of the work culminates in a final decision.

If this was an active admission cycle for your family, I hope you are taking time to celebrate.

CFF College Fully Funded® Students Are Celebrating

In CFF College Fully Funded®, this is one of the most exciting times of the year.

  • Harvard
  • Cornell
  • Princeton
  • Lehigh University
  • University of Miami
  • University of Rochester
  • Bryn Mawr College
  • Agnes Scott College
  • Hampshire College
  • University of Maryland
  • Nova Southeastern University....and many more.

These outcomes are not random—they are the result of following a proven, strategic framework.
